It was a great experience at the Last Nickel Lodge. The location was easy to get to and close to the lifts. It accommodated 15 people no problem, comfortable for all plus the hot tub and outside grill was super easy to use.It seemed like parts of the house were colder than others, maybe it was because there every several thermostats to adjust and we didn't realize it until toward the end of our stay. Could use some clarity in guest instructions for those staying there.

Early Christmas with family

The property was beautiful. The main bedrooms all had its own bathroom and shower. The house was very clean. Checking in was very easy. We saw three moose wander through the back yard while staying here. The management staff communicated with me daily making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect place to have an early Christmas with our family.

Our family of 15 gathered for 5 days. We’ve done this for several years now and have always had a great time. This house is fantastic for a large group with privacy for all. The location on the golf course is beautiful with a hiking trail to The Jessie Mine close by. Easy drive to town. RRR does a great job!

Our group of 8 dads takes an annual ski trip to Summit County. We bounce around to different mountains every day based on the forecast/ski conditions. We prefer to rent a nice home away from the mountain as we are comfortable driving the short distance each day to our ski location. Last Nickel was the perfect choice this year. Great kitchen and plenty of room to spread out.

Great overall; few items: shower handle in the upper queen bedroom bath loose and shower handle in the second bedroom on the main floor across from the master was also loose and didn't function properly. The house was very clean and well stocked. the house layout was perfect for the 14 of us! Management was great and very responsive; will definitely use again next Thanksgiving (our annual tradition for 16 years)!

Great place to stay at if you have a big family, great views, great location, and great customer service. The place was amazing and had a great time. I would definitely recommend and would return. We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful home! The house is in excellent condition, spotless, and beautifully decorated! The views were lovely of the mountains and the golf green directly behind the house. The neighborhood is beautiful! It is a short drive to Main Street where there are many restaurants to choose from and great shopping! River Ridge Rentals were great with communication and responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely rent this house again!

This rental was five stars in every respect. It was clean, well stocked for cooking in, very well located for all activities in the Breckenridge/ Frisco/ Silverthorne area. We had 13 people from our family including four children under 12 and the house was perfectly comfortable for all with its five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 2 large living areas. Management kept checking in to make sure all was well, and it was.

The 13 of us had a five star experience. The reservation was easy to book; the house was extremely well stocked and very clean; and the location was central to everything we wanted to do in Summit County. The five bedrooms each had it's own associated bathroom and all the arrangements were very comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better family experience- it was well worth the money. The only hard part was getting the kids away from the pool table and hot tub so we could leave the house.

This property is AMAZING! The pictures do not do it justice. We had our family(adult children and spouses with their three toddlers under two ) all in this family friendly house. We could all be together in the kitchen cooking and then loved the large seated dining room. If you are looking at this property don't look any further... it is just perfect! We even had a moose visit us in out driveway. A scenic, peaceful and beautiful property.

My family and I loved the Last Nickel Lodge property. The home was beautiful! Not to mention it was very clean and the owners thought of everything in terms of supplying the property with every day essentials. This was our second stay at Last Nickle Lodge and we absolutely love it! None of our guests this trip had stayed there before and they were so thrilled with everything. It's a perfect house for a large group. It's so beautifully designed and immaculately clean with everything you could possibly need. We had a lot of cooks this trip and the kitchen has absolutely everything a cook would need. We decided we are going to make this a yearly trip to Breckenridge and the Last Nickle Lodge! Just getting away from the 100 degree heat in Texas for a week was a treat, but we received a bonus on top of that. On the morning that we were to leave (June 22nd) we woke up to find 3 inches of snow outside! We couldn't believe our eyes. What a treat and so beautiful! Thanks again for a perfect stay at Last Nickle! We will be back next year!

This was a lovely house and fit our family of 14 perfectly! Good location outside of Breckenridge. Great layout and fun game room. Garage is a little small but it fits small cars fine.

We rent a home each year on our ski trip and this one is one of our favorites. It fit our three families well and was very easy to live in. The multiple master bedrooms worked great for the adults. The bunk room and game room was perfect for the kids. Great living space and fireplace. We loved it.

My family, which included my in-laws, husband and two small children stayed here over our February break. House was beautiful and very clean. We didn't have any issues while we were there so we didn't have to contact the property managers. The house was about a 10 minute drive to downtown Breck and the ski area. Definitely recommend this house for a large group.

Our stay at The Last Nickel was a great experience. Our family of 15 enjoyed a beautiful White Christmas. We are so grateful to River Ridge Rentals for the accommodation. Any questions we had, they were quick to answer. The 4 master bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom made this home the ideal place for our adult children. The bunk room and game room was a big hit for our 7 grandkids. Thank you again River Ridge. We shall return The Collins Family from Texas

Beautiful comfortable home close to everything

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Last Nickel Lodge. We are four couples that vacation together each year and this home was so cozy, comfortable and welcoming to all of us. Amenities were wonderful to include all the comforts of home. We were within minutes from Breckenridge, Copper, Vail and Keystone. If you want to feel at home, stay at the Last Nickel Lodge. There is even a path at the back of the property to get a cross country ski in your day! The development is spectacular! Thank you for making our 4th annual ski trip a huge success!

The house was great! Went for a guys' weekend, and it was the perfect house. It was clean and in a great neighborhood. Close uber ride to downtown. It shows exactly like the pics. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Thanks for a great stay!

Wow! This home is beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. Fully equipped with everything we needed, our group was very comfortable. The non-skiers had fun playing pool and hanging in the hot tub while we were out. I would definitely recommend this place. I think we might make this an annual trip.

We were a family of 8, with three grands (13,9 and 1) who rented this home between Christmas and New Yesr's Day. Perfect home for our group--- situated between Breck and Frisco on the golf course. Living in Houston, it was first snow and winter sports experience for 13 and 9 year olds (they loved it, of course). The house is all it is advertised to be-- beautiful home in great location. Management company was very responsive to our needs. Would highly recommend!

Fabulous large family get away, room for everyone in comfortable beds. Clean and well cared for. Trying to plan a return trip sometime soon, absolutely worth it.

The house was beautiful and the whole family enjoyed the pool table. It was so clean and stocked very well. It was so well later out we did not feel crowed at all. It was peaceful inside and out. I'm sure we will return.
